Re: Lalor Has Teleconference With NRCC
Peekskill,
NY/December 11, 2007 – Kieran Michael Lalor, the Republican
candidate for Congress seeking to unseat first-term Democrat
John Hall, had a long and fruitful teleconference with the
National Republican Congressional Committee and was invited to
Washington to further discuss his campaign of issues, ideas and
solutions.
Said
Lalor, “We spoke for 40 minutes about my plan to unseat John
Hall and about the sharp contrasts
between Hall and me.” Lalor continued, “Everyone understands
that Hall is a relic of the 1960’s counterculture who slipped
into our Republican district from Ulster County. The people of
the Hudson Valley know that unlike Hall, I am a native of the
district and I am conservative Marine Corps veteran who is
determined to leave a better America for our children.”
Lalor, who formally
announced his campaign at the American Legion Post in Peekskill
on November 25th, said his campaign is seeing broad
support around the District and is gathering momentum.
In the past
week the Lalor campaign has seen positive responses after
meetings with Chairman Mike Long of the Conservative Party and
Orange County legend, Senator Bill Larkin.
On Friday
December 7th, Lalor was Senator Larkin’s guest at a
Pearl Harbor Commemoration in Orange County and was the guest
speaker at the American Legion Post 1758 Holiday Party in
Hopewell Junction. Of the Legion event Lalor remarked, “I love
talking to my fellow Veterans and speaking at that Post was a
particular treat because my father and I are both members of
1758.”
