Iraq Veteran Opposes Hall
Democrat John Hall's Iraq policy is to
"extricate our troops as quickly as possible by transferring
control to a true multinational force." This sounds OK, but begs
the question: what multinational force?
The U.N. was bribed into irrelevance by
Saddam, its "peacekeepers" committed scores of sexual assaults
on the people of the Congo, and NATO has struggled to muster a
mere 2,500 more troops for Afghanistan. Moreover, a premature
withdrawal from Iraq would send a clear signal that the U.S.
will quit when things get difficult, exponentially increase
Iran's influence in the region, provide a safe haven for
terrorists and squander the work and sacrifice of those who
served and died in Iraq.
The Hudson Valley needs a congressman who
offers workable solutions to national security issues, not a
guitar player singing far left talking points.
