Lalor Endorsed By NYPD SBA

Kieran Michael Lalor, a Republican running for the 19th Congressional District, received an endorsement from the New York City Police Department Sergeants Benevolent Association, a release said today.

In a letter of endorsement, union President Edward D. Mullins said, "Lalor's commitment to national security and to the law enforcement community is remarkable."

After Lalor received the support of Republican parties in five counties, George Oros of Cortlandt dropped out of the race. Former GOP congressman Joseph DioGuardi of Ossining has said he would back the candidate the party supported.

Rep. John Hall, D-Dover, is running for re-election.
